LEGO photographer holds first UK exhibition

Mike Stimpson is a video games programmer and photographer living and working in Birmingham. He specialises in creating whimsical scenes using LEGO minifigures, with his most popular works being recreations of iconic photographs using LEGO.

This is the first time his work will have been exhibited in the UK, having previously been shown in the USA, Europe and Australia.

Mike discovered his love of photography in 2006 when he bought his first ‘proper’ camera, and quickly got a taste for miniature photography. He enjoys experimenting with small-scale lighting and conjuring up comical situations featuring LEGO Stormtroopers.
